Our heartfelt thanks and congratulations to one of our magnificent supporters, Angela Stewart, for raising an incredible £1,375 by holding a 24 hour knitathon.

Message from Angela…

“It was a fun weekend!

About 20 people kept me company, knitting the squares with me, dropping in and out during the 24 hours.

2 dogs also popped in!

74 squares are complete but people were keen to finish squares they had started, so there will be about 100 in the end!

We will start sewing them together into 2 blankets next week.

My fingers are fine but my neck is a bit stiff!”
